Always take the scenic route. You never know what Always take the scenic route. You never know what you may find.

Took a detour on my road trip home to stop at Indiana's largest waterfall, Cataract Falls. Cataract Falls consists of two sets of waterfalls on Mill Creek a mile apart from each other. You can hike from one to the other or drive. There is also a beautiful historic covered bridge by the upper falls.

Have you been here?

Thinking back to being in Florence Italy three years ago. My 5 weeks in Italy that summer were amazing. Florence is one of those cities that I stayed longer in and would definitely go back to.

When my niece thinks it is funny to interact with When my niece thinks it is funny to interact with the statues. Little does she know that her Aunt Heather does it all the time, too. I wonder where she gets it from? Lol

This was taken on a trip to Chicago. It was her first time traveling by train and I loved sharing this adventure with her.

Have you taken your niece or nephew on a vacation before?

"You can't buy happiness but you can buy donuts. A "You can't buy happiness but you can buy donuts. And that's kinda the same thing." Today is National Donut Day!

We just had to go in and check out the infamous Duck Donuts while visiting the Outer Banks. The process is actually very easy. They start with plain donuts and then the magic happens. You can get all sorts of toppings on them. Of course, we had to try some. My favorites were the lemon icing with strawberry drizzle, maple icing with chopped bacon, strawberry shortcake with graham cracker crumble, and cookies and cream.

What are your favorite toppings on donuts?

Aunt - a double blessing. You love like a parent Aunt - a double blessing. You love like a parent and act like a friend.

Today is #traveltuesday and I wanted to share the most wonderful travel gift my Aunt made for me. It took her 6 months to finish. This shadow box is filled with so many trinkets, my travel photos, and so much love that reminds me of my adventures in Africa, Paris, Italy, and Arizona. It is like a real I Spy game with all its little treasures.

Have you been given a gift that reminds you of all your travels?
