I am so excited that I finally have my travel plans for 2018 confirmed. You will be so surprised at where I am planning on visiting this year. With my new job, I have been able to achieve more work-life balance or at least try to and have time to do more of what I love. TRAVEL! So here I go…
Table of Contents
Tulip Time Festival
The first trip on the docket is heading to Holland, Michigan for the Tulip Time Festival. I’m taking my youngest niece, Madison with me. She’s excited to see all the flowers and take pictures with me. But, most of all I think she is excited to fly up to spend the weekend with her Aunt Heather. You can see my previous posts on this beautiful festival – TipToe through the Tulips and Parade of Tulips.
Myrtle Beach
Memphis
I was fortunate to be chosen as one of only 20 travel bloggers to be invited to #BloghouseMemphis this year. Bloghouse is an “all-inclusive three-day and night opportunity to live, work, and learn in a small group environment with both experienced and newer bloggers.” I will be able to experience all the sights and history of Memphis and get mentored to become a better travel blogger. I haven’t figured out yet all that I’m going to visit but, so far my plans include visiting the National Civil Rights Museum and enjoy listening to some Blues, Soul, and Rock & Roll while I’m there. Plus, I’m staying at the Peabody Hotel so, I will be able to watch the Duck Parade.
Ostrava, Czech Republic
I’m heading back to Europe to TBEX 2018, and this time it is in Ostrava, Czech Republic. For those who don’t know where this is, it is about a 3-hour train ride from Prague. I’m excited to see another part of Europe that I have never seen before. I’m even trying to learn Czech. Although I don’t know how well I’ll be able to speak it since I’ve never been able to roll my r’s but, I will give it my best shot.
Tanzania, Africa
I can’t wait to share my adventures with you this year. If you want to follow my exploits go ahead and subscribe so, you won’t miss a thing.
